 OverviewCARE MATTERS is your Medical Case Management & Social Work Support provider for Southeast Michigan. We are a devoted advocate for individuals and families who are impacted by disabilities and complexities of life. We collaborate with medical & legal professionals as well as government agencies to sensitize them to the emotional and social aspects of traumatic injuries, chronic conditions, and illnesses. CARE MATTERS is a personal resource for anyone involved in auto accidents, work-related injuries, and any event or condition that inhibits a healthy quality of life. We are sensitive to the unique needs of each person including but not limited to seniors, veterans, students, medically fragile, disabled, patients, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program). Our FoundationCARE MATTERS, LLC was founded by and is currently operated under the direction of Wendy Hooker. Wendy holds the following credentials:
"Care matters was started because resources and support are critical when experiencing a life-altering
event. While medical and legal professionals help a person deal with certain facets of a problem, who helps
you to cope with all of this as a person, not a patient? Who helps you get your life back? That's why
I started Care Matters. To help individuals establish goals that directly address individual areas of concern and triumph over events in life that may cause anxiety."
